NPC Energy Services 70E Compliance Solutions protects facilities and personnel from electrical hazards and system failures that result in injuries, property damage, interruptions in operations, and citations. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace is the document we reference to design electrical safety programs and preventive maintenance procedures. OSHA enforces the electrical workplace safety standards outlined in NFPA 70E, but in addition to those requirements, we use the standard to design programs and procedures that also reinforce facility productivity. An electrical accident or arc flash incident is not only a dangerous and preventable situation for workers, it can render equipment and plant unusable and result in costly downtime and repairs.
We prevent these incidents by helping our clients become NFPA 70E compliant and by performing scheduled EPM service and repairs. We have a core group of journey level electricians that includes two Level 2 IR technicians who are specially qualified to perform energized testing and maintenance. We also have extensive experience performing arc flash hazard analysis calculations, developing hazard mitigation strategies and arc flash hazard equipment labeling, performing coordination studies, and providing one-line diagram maintenance, all activities required for NFPA 70E compliance. We also offer on-line and classroom electrical safety and arc flash hazard training, PPE procurement, EPM planning and scheduling, secure on-line electrical system documentation, and comprehensive 70E compliance documentation to provide the most reliable and safe electrical systems possible for our clients.
